Assistant Veterinary Surgeon Temple Fortune North London
Job description: We are currently recruiting an Assistant Veterinary Surgeon to work in a very well established veterinary practice in Temple Fortune, North London. You will be working alongside a very experienced vet who holds a general practitioner certificate in Feline Practice.
Temple Fortune is a new and purpose built state of the art veterinary practice. Equipment includes both digital xray and dental x-ray, ECG, full lab including microscope, haematology and biochemistry analyser There is also a very nearby hospital for all out of hours with access to CT and MRI.
The ideal candidate will be confident with ideally at least 2 years experience working at a busy small animal practice/hospital. You’ll be competent in clinical examination and surgery and confident working sole charge or as part of the wider team.
Location details: Temple Fortune is a place in the London Borough of Barnet to the north of Golders Green. It is a very pleasant and affluent residential area to live with good transport connections to Central London
Salary and benefits: The Temple Fortune practice runs a 4-day week rota to assist with an excellent work life balance. This is a 4 day week role that offers a competitive basic salary as well as a generous CPD allowance of £1500 CPD with 3-days CPD leave. You are entitled for 5 weeks annual holiday allowance plus bank holidays. RCVS, VDS and BVA membership are fully paid.
We can also support Certificates of Sponsorship for a Tier 2 (General) Visa if you meet the criteria and are eligible to register as a veterinary surgeon with the RCVS upon arrival in the UK.
