Experienced Veterinary Surgeon Peterborough

We are seeking a confident and caring Veterinary Surgeon to join our fantastic and highly motivated team in Peterborough.

Joining our professional, personable team in our Peterborough Welland Road practice, you’ll deliver exceptional care by going beyond consulting to listen and empathising, putting patients and clients first.

As qualified MRCVS, you’ll already have good experience gained in small animal practice.

You will also display good communication skills and the desire to share your knowledge and skills by being an outstanding, positive example to others.

You will enjoy a very competitive salary package, working over 3 week days plus 1 in 3 Saturdays, covering regular days off and/or as an additional team member working alongside the permanent team which includes a very experienced Branch Partner.

Salary & Benefits:

-Competitive salary of up to £58k (DOE)

-1,500 CPD allowance with 3 days CPD leave per annum pro rata

-VDS, RCVS, BVA fees paid

-5 weeks annual leave plus bank holidays per annum pro rata

Key accountabilities

Skills and experience
You must be a Veterinary Surgeon who is registered with the RCVS. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years’ experience. Full progression to a certificate or specialism can be catered for, or if you are part way through further qualifications.

Branch
Jeremy, our vet and Branch Partner, has a keen interest in diagnostic imaging, surgery and exotics. We see all small mammals and exotics, including rabbits, reptiles and birds. The practice comes fully equipped with ultrasound, ECG, digital x-ray, dental facilities and much more!
