Lead Veterinary Surgeon Faygate Hospital

Job description: Synchronised Solution is recruiting a Lead Veterinary Surgeon to work at Faygate veterinary hospital. The hospital sees an interesting, busy and varied caseload and offers a range of services from routine general practice work to hydrotherapy, specialist treatment of exotic patients, an orthopaedic service, laparoscopy and advanced imaging.

The team is made up of  9 vets with different areas of interest, many of whom are certificate holders, or are studying towards one, these include: medicine, cardiology, exotics and imaging. The spacious hospital is well equipped with separate dog, cat and exotic wards, hydrotherapy pool, cold laser, laparoscopic surgical equipment, ultrasound, CT and endoscopy.

Candidate should have at least 5 years small animal practice experience. and be a confident all rounder – ideally with certificate in medicine or surgery.  There are excellent long term prospects for the right candidate, with career development and specialism actively encouraged. The successful candidate will work 4 days, 39hours a week. The shift pattern includes 1:3 Saturdays.

Location details: The practice is very close to Gatwick airport (15 minute drive) and there are also excellent train connections to Central London. The successful candidate will be joining a large team of 9 vets and 25 support staff which hold a variety of certificates and specialities including exotics, internal medicine, oncology, cardiology, radiology, rehabilitation, surgery, ultrasound.

Salary and benefits: This is a 4 day week role and you will have to work 1 in 3Saturdays.
