Mobile Veterinary Surgeon Merthyr Tydfil

Job description: Synchronised Solution is currently recruiting a small animal Veterinary Surgeon to work at Merthyr Tydfil, Treharris, Mountain Ash and Ystradgynlais practices. You will mainly be based between Treharris and Merthyr and you will cover the other branches as required for holiday cover. This is a great opportunity to work in a busy practice with a varied caseload including advanced surgery and medicine. You will work alongside a friendly team of five experienced vets and a great support team with experienced Veterinary Nurses. The veterinary practice provides a range of services, including in-house MRI machines and state-of-the-art operating theatres. Candidate should be comfortable with routine GP work and have very good communication skills and desire to work at gold standard. This is a full time role working 45 hours per week (9 hours per day) with the need to cover the other local branches when required.

Location details: Merthyr is the main town in Merthyr Tydfil County Borough. It is close to the Brecon Beacons mountain range and set in beautiful countryside with plenty of outdoor activities to enjoy in the area. There are good transport connections with regular direct trains to Cardiff that can be reached in 1 hour.

We can also support Certificates of Sponsorship for a Tier 2 (General) Visa if you meet the criteria and are eligible to register as a veterinary surgeon with the RCVS upon arrival in the UK.
