The role

Joining our professional personable team at our Rugby Hillmorton practice, you’ll deliver exceptional care by going beyond consulting to listen and empathising, putting patients and clients first, always.

As qualified MRCVS, you’ll already have good experience gained in small animal practice. You’ll be competent in clinical examination and surgery and confident working sole charge or as part of the wider team. Sharing our values being trustworthy, caring and progressive, you will have all the softer skills essential to working effectively, building trusting relationships with your colleagues, harnessing our one team culture. You will also display good communication skills and the desire to share your knowledge and skills by being an outstanding, positive example to others.

We are flexible around hours therefore full time or part time hours will both be considered to suit your individual needs, we are here to find the right balance for you! (Full time working pattern is 4 days per week plus 1 in 3 Saturday or Sundays).

Salary & Benefits

Up to £66,469 salary package per annum (FTE) depending on experience to include:

5 weeks’ annual leave

4 weeks’ paid sabbatical (after each 5 years of service)

We can also support Certificates of Sponsorship for a Tier 2 (General) Visa if you meet the criteria and are eligible to register as a veterinary surgeon with the RCVS upon arrival in the UK.

Branch
Our Rugby Hillmorton practice is led by Lead Veterinary Surgeon Jan and comes well-equipped with in-house haematology and biochem machines, digital x-ray, ultrasound, dental facilities, bronchoscope, ECG, tonometer, access to a gastroscope and mobile MRI unit, spacious air-conditioned theatre and prep room.

The practice has been awarded a Silver Standard Cat-Friendly Clinic Award from the International Society of Feline Medicine (ISFM).

You will also have access to facilities to the 24 Hour Leamington Spa Hospital.
