Veterinary Surgeon – Wexham (Accommodation available)

Job description: Synchronised Solution is recruiting a Lead Veterinary Surgeon to work in a very well established veterinary practice in Wexham (Slough). The veterinary practice is dedicated to delivering exceptional care. The practice offers a full range of veterinary services and is equipped with state of the art equipment including separate cat and dog wards, in-house lab and x-ray.  The Wexham practice feeds into a 24 hour hospital in Watford. Here, will also have access to diagnostic ultrasound, endoscopy, CT, dental X-ray and a full orthopaedic theatre.

Wexham is a sole vet practice with potential to become a 1.5 Vet practice in the future. Mobile and Graduate Veterinary Surgeons also visit this clinic. The nursing and support team is made up of Student Veterinary Nurse and Practice Coordinator/SVN.

The successful candidate will work a 4-day week (09:00-19:00) with 1:3 half or 1:6 full weekends at the nearby Watford 24 hour hospital.

Location details: Wexham is a civil parish in the county of Buckinghamshire in southern England. It is on the boundary of the unitary authority of Slough, its post town. Wexham is only 27 miles from Central London and there are good train and bus connections.

Salary and benefits: This role offers a fantastic remuneration package with base dependent on experience, includes accommodation and/or £10,200 housing allowance , vehicle or £2,500 allowance, £1,500 CPD allowance plus 3-days CPD leave, RCVS, VDS and BVA membership. 5 weeks annual leave plus bank holidays.
