All staff are supported by their line manager in practice and Area Manager and Regional Director.

The role
We are looking for a day time weekend vet to help support the Quarrington team. Ideally this would be 1 in 3 half weekends or 1 in 6 full weekends working 9am – 7pm.

Salary & Benefits:

Competitive salary, dependent on working pattern, plus:

CPD allowance of £1,500 plus 3 days CPD leave per annum, pro rata.
RCVS, VDS, BVA fees paid.

Long service awards
We can also support Certificates of Sponsorship for a Tier 2 (General) Visa if you meet the criteria and are eligible to register as a veterinary surgeon with the RCVS upon arrival in the UK. With current Covid19 regulations we will offer relocation and quarantine support entering the UK.

Key accountabilities
You will be responsible for consulting and performing surgeries at the weekend with the support from a veterinary nurse and reception staff. You will also be responsible for the handing over of cases to and from the night vet and continue to manage these cases throughout the day.

Cases may also be seen from local Medivet practices.

You will be working sole charge or with the support of another vet.

Our purpose-built practice in Quarrington is set in the scenic location of Sleaford, in the beautiful Lincolnshire countryside, half way between Lincoln and Peterborough.

We are developing the practice to become the 24 hour hub hospital for the Lincolnshire Medivet practices and we we are looking for vets to help us develop the team, drive the practice forwards and to continue to provide gold-standard clinical care.
